Received crash report from activity monitor today. I could find some older similar posts which seemed to indicate that the problem was some kind of webcam software, but I don't have any special webcam software installed and the first time it happened I was just browsing a non video-related site. The second time it happened, that window did not appear. Unfortunately I didn't copy/save the log. After I log back in (have to use the password, touch ID won't work for some reason) the apps I had open reopen by themselves.īoth times it happened I have been using Chrome - first time just browsing a map website, second time in a Microsoft Teams meeting (webcam turned off). Just got a new Macbook Pro M2 16" a few days ago, and today I have experienced twice that the screen suddenly goes black for a few seconds and then the login screen appears.
